Required qualifications/ skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3-5 years of work experience or a Master's degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with minimum 1-3 years of work experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired.
Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) and BIM modeling using Revit, data recording, and analyzation software.
Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches.
Familiar with structural glass and interlayer design.
Working knowledge of mathematics as applied to engineering activities.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members.

Summary:
As a Structural Engineering Technician, you will exercise independent judgement to maintain standards and follow policy on tasks of average size or larger assignments. As a team member of a larger project, you will work under the direction of a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer.
You will be responsible to ensure CAD/BIM standards are being followed, ensure all disciplines arecoordinating correctly, conduct model reviews, conduct clash detections and be client facing for design review meetings or presentations.
